Its easy to leave negative review when you have a bad experience at an establishment but I had to let everyone know about my experience at The Vault tonight. I threw a dinner birthday party for my bff and the experience from start to finish was great. The vibe of the place was lounge on the first floor. The second floor look like a club area and then the rooftop was like an outdoor lounge. The music was good and it wasn't too crowded. They were flexible when we had to change our reservation and so accommodating. The staff were amazing. Our hostess Ashley provided top tier service. Friendly and professional and helpful. They even allowed us to hang up a Banner for the birthday girl. And even assisted us with hanging it. Everyone commented how good their food was. My suya and jollof and firecracker shrimp were on point. Llamb chops were delicious. That was my first time having lamb chops and they were on point. The drinks were strong however so I definitely didn't need a second LOL. Prices were reasonable. They do add a service charge of 20%, I'm not sure if that is because we initially were supposed to be a large party and they just didn't take it off but I was fine with it because

I had my birthday here with my friends! The food is so good! I met the owner, very nice guy. Good place to hang out and vibe.

Happy Hour is amazing from 3:30 to 6pm. The wonderful Bryann the bartender was professional and knew the menu. Bryann made me the best Expresso Martini. Al was my server, the beef samosas (beef patty) with a twist was very good. Al was professional and good looking!! Lol. My first time coming but won't be the last time.

The food, the music and overall vibe was so good here! The food was well seasoned and came out in a good timing, drinks were also really good. The jollof rice was also fire as someone that was experiencing it for the first time lol. Jay was our waitress and she was so kind and assertive, along with all of the girlies working here <3

I had such a wonderful Valentine’s Day at The Vault in Newark! We ordered the Rasta pasta with shrimp and the Rasta pasta with salmon — both were flavorful, creamy, and perfectly seasoned. For appetizers, we had the hickory BBQ wings and firecracker shrimp, and they did not disappoint. The wings were tender with just the right smoky sweetness, and the firecracker shrimp had a delicious kick. Our drinks — rum punch and rosé wine — were the perfect complement to the meal and really set the vibe for the night. A special shoutout to our waitress, Grace, who was simply amazing. She was attentive, friendly, and made sure we were taken care of the entire evening. Her service truly made the experience even more enjoyable. The music was on point the whole time and created such a great atmosphere. This Valentine’s Day is definitely one to remember at The Vault. I will absolutely be back!
